Cowboy - Cowboy Photos - Tintypes - Ferrotypes.
This tintype is of a cowboy. He is holding a revolver. I believe he is proud of his new boots. He has his right foot forward to show off the leather tool work on his black boots.
This tintype comes in a somewhat funky old frame, which measures 3 7/8ths by 5 inches. - oval 2 1/4 by 3 1/4 inches. The red velvet has been glued on front with a silver oval to encompass the photograph. There is a slight ripple in the tin which runs from the left fence corner across his right knee downward. This tintype has very good clarity.
